    Academic Year 2027

    MICA has broadened its programme offering. Admissions to all the programmes require candidates to appear for the MICAT exam conducted by MICA, along with other requirements unique for different programmes.
    As AI reshapes discovery, reputation, decision-making and public discourse, communication professionals need more than the ability to communicate. They need to understand technology, build trust, shape reputation, influence decisions and navigate complex stakeholder ecosystems.
    Application Fee: ₹2,500 per programme + ₹500 per additional programme (payable if shortlisted for interview). (exclude plus 500/- in FPM Programme; the FPM application fee is 2500/- only.)

    Eligibility Criteria

    Master’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks in Management, Communications, Humanities, or Social Sciences. Relevant exposure to Marketing, Media, Public Relations, Advertising, Journalism, or related professional/research experience.

    Selection Process

    The FPM selection process comprises of three steps: MICAT, an Online Screening Interview, followed by on-campus FPM Written Test (FWT), Individual Presentation (IP), and Personal Interview (PI).

    MICAT plus CAT, XAT or GMAT (PGDM, PGDM-C, SM)

    Register for MICAT. Submit your CAT, XAT or GMAT score. Sit for MICAT I or II. Attend Group Exercise and Personal Interview if shortlisted. Await final merit list.

    Track 2

    MICAT only (FPM, PGCM-AMC, PGCM-DMMC, CSC)

    Register for MICAT. Sit for MICAT I or II. Attend the personal interview or programme-specific assessment if shortlisted. Await final merit list.
    Application fee: Rs 2,500 for a single programme. Rs 500 for each additional programme applied to and shortlisted for interview.

    Do I need to take CAT for MICA admission?

    MICA PGDM-C is a two-year residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Communications that integrates brand, marketing and advertising communications, cultural intelligence and creative strategy with AI and analytics. Offered by MICA, Ahmedabad, it is AICTE approved, with 180 seats per batch; MICA holds a NIRF rank of 33.
    PGDM-C focuses on brand communication, advertising and cultural intelligence and lets students choose two full functional majors and two sectors; PGDM focuses on data analytics, strategy and AI with Business Analytics & Consulting (BAC) as a compulsory functional specialisation. PGDM-C has 180 seats and weights creative aptitude, verbal ability and reading comprehension in MICAT; PGDM has 60 seats and weights quantitative ability.
    In Year 2, Job Seekers choose any TWO of seven functional Specialisations — Advanced Product Management & Product Marketing, Advanced Sales & CRM Leadership, Advanced Brand Management, Campaign Design & Performance Management, Marketing Technology & AI, Data Science & Analytics with AI, and Customer Experience Strategy & Digital Transformation — and any TWO of eight sectoral/industryspecialisations: FMCG & FMCD, Consumer Tech, Retail, Media/Entertainment & Sports, BFSI & FinTech, Consulting & Tech Consulting, Business Analytics & AI, and Health-Tech & Health Care.
